The current game
Current connected builds use our separate Mina’s Quest account service for sign-in and cloud saves. Earlier test builds may retain local mock data that does not migrate automatically. The game does not ask for blood-glucose readings or health records. Choose a nickname rather than your real name.
The connected account service processes sign-in and gameplay data as described below. We do not use that account data for personalised advertising. Brand promotions are bundled artwork displayed in the game; they are not personalised using player data. The current build does not offer working real-money purchases.
Connected accounts and cloud saves
When you use our live account service, we store a player ID, nickname, age group, cloud-save data and save version. The guest installation identifier is hashed using a secret salt; we do not store it in clear text. This identifier is used to recognise a guest account. We do not store email addresses or birth dates in account records. Players under 13 may use guest mode only.
Apple or Google sign-in stores the provider’s account identifier to recognise your account. Apple credentials needed to revoke sign-in during deletion are encrypted. Nicknames can be changed free once every 30 days without resetting progress.
Leaderboards and invites
Connected versions may store scores, a selected country and optional city, plus invite-code claims, share counts and whether an invited player completed a round. Leaderboards show nicknames, scores, country and optional city to other signed-in players. We do not collect GPS location, and under-13 players do not store a city. Invite counts describe reported shares and claimed codes, not verified app-store download measurements.
Online account deletion
Use Settings → Account → Delete Account in a connected version to remove the account, save, scores and referral records. Deleted account sessions stop working. Apple-linked deletion also revokes the Apple credential; a temporary provider failure may require retrying. Operational backups may retain deleted records until their normal retention period expires. You can also request deletion without reinstalling the game on our account and data deletion page. We verify account ownership before handling an email request.
Platform testing and purchases
Apple and Google process app distribution, platform purchases and internal-testing activity under their own privacy policies. If you choose to send TestFlight feedback or diagnostic reports, Apple may make those reports available to us. We use information we receive to investigate issues and improve the game. Do not include health information in feedback.
Support messages
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond and troubleshoot. We retain it only as long as needed for support, security and applicable recordkeeping requirements. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing us; we will explain any information we must retain.
Website hosting
Our hosting and network providers process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser information, request times and requested URLs to deliver and protect the website. This website does not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts or account forms. Service providers may retain operational logs under their own terms.
Your choices and deletion
You can remove local game data through your device’s app-storage controls or by uninstalling the game, subject to any backups managed by your device or platform. Mock accounts belong to the local test version; connected versions provide the online deletion flow described above. Contact us about information you have sent by email or testing feedback.
Ages 13 and over
The game is intended for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
Changes
We will update this page if the game’s data practices change, when account features, gameplay data practices, tracking or purchases change. The effective date above identifies this policy version.
